AJ Lee's Remark Makes Stephanie-Triple H Consider Changing Things Around in WWE?

AJ Lee-Stephanie McMahon
AJ Lee might have retired from WWE, but her words on the treatment meted out to divas in the company seems to have made some positive impact.
If you can recall, AJ Lee and Chief Brand Officer of WWE Stephanie McMahon had a small argument on Twitter before the former walked out of the company. Stephanie had responded to actress Patricia Arquette's inspiring words at the Oscars by posting, "Thank You @PattyArquette for having the courage to fight for #WomensRights on such a grand platform. #UseYourVoice."
Reacting to this post, AJ Lee pointed out to Stephanie McMahon that women at WWE were being paid less than the men even though the merchandise of female wrestlers sells like hot cakes. She had also reminded her about female wrestlers getting less screen time on WWE.
Possibly, this has made Stephanie McMahon and her husband Triple H to consider changing how women in WWE are featured. WWE Inc reports that the duo are the proponents of changing divas segment. However, the article has no mention about AJ Lee and rather credits Ronda Rousey's success on UFC for the WWE bosses to relook at the way women segment is working.
"Apparently this is very much based on Stephanie's influence and the success UFC has had with Ronda Rousey," the website reports. Even though Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are not big fans of UFC, they are fans of Ronda Rousey.
Nonetheless, the fans of AJ Lee will also easily believe that her words on Twitter certainly have made Stephanie McMahon and Triple H consider changing the things around.
