Karan Johar is not throwing his grand starry birthday bash in Mumbai today. The director-turned-actor is instead spending his special day in the United Kingdom with his Bombay Velvet co-star, actor Ranbir Kapoor and director Ayan Mukerji in London. That’s not it, Karan also found company in Shilpa Shetty Kundra and husband Raj Kundra while in London. In fact a new entrant on Instagram, Shilpa shared a picture with the birthday boy at the Clarifges Hotel Mayfair.
We hear that away from the buzz around his movie Shhuddhi and his debut debacle with Anurag Kashyap, Karan is chilling with his buddies in UK. Did they party? Well, we’re certain that the boys had a gala time. As for his big birthday bash in Mumbai, well Karan will be calling in his celebrity friends from the industry next week. We hear that Santino Morea and Karan together will play the hosts. And if not Salman Khan (who will be in Dubai for Arab-Indo Bollywood Awards) and Shah Rukh Khan (who’s recuperating from his surgery), his Shhuddhi lead actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will definitely glam up the occasion.
