Brock Lesnar WWE Return
On the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez speculated that one reason why Brock Lesnar returned to WWE television earlier than planned had something to do with the WWE Network subscription numbers.
Alvarez noted the next conference call takes place next month on July 30th, and the company would be more inclined to report a higher subscriber count, and his return would benefit those numbers, which include people buying for the WWE Battleground pay-per-view.
It was previously reported that Lesnar was originally planned to return at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view to face current champion Seth Rollins, but those plans were changed and Lesnar’s return was pushed up to last night’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.
Dolph Ziggler Ring Gear Error
The following photo has been making its way around on social media, showing Dolph Ziggler had a bit of a mishap with his new attire. First reported by Metal Injection (and shared by @JaimsVanDerBeek), the band patch on his shoulder was mispelled as “Megadeath” on Sunday night at WWE Money In The Bank, but corrected to reflect the band’s spelling of the name “Megadeth.”
